MY HEALTHY BANANA BREAD

PS. Don’t make the same mistake I made by removing it from the pan before it’s fully cooled- hence the big crack you see down the middle 😑

I’m so excited for you guys to try this one! I was very impressed with how tasty this turned out, for being my “healthiest” banana bread recipe yet.

Wet ingredients:

  •   3 ripe bananas, mashed

  •   1/3 cup olive oil

  •   2 eggs

  •   2/3 cup maple syrup (I put a little less)

  •   2 tsp vanilla extract

Dry ingredients:

  •   1 cup flour

  •   1/2 cup almond flour

  •   1 tsp sea salt

⁃ 1 tbsp of each: baking powder and cinnamon

Directions:

  • mix the wet ingredients until well-combined in a separate bowl, do the same for the dry ingredients

  • add the dry mixture to the wet, and mix to combine

  • bake at 350 degrees for 38-45 minutes

⁃ let cool completely before slicing!

I hope you enjoy!! You can add a cinnamon sugar topping too if you’d like: 1/3 cup granulated sugar + 4 tbsp cinnamon. Add that to the top before you bake 😋
